(1).The hands sweat is quite corrosive to the watch when wearing it. As he steel watch cover is nickel-chromium alloy, is of better corrosion resistance, while the semi-stainless steel case of copper, is easy to corrosion after long-term contacts with sweat, should be often wiped with a soft cloth or added with a plastic table mat to prevent the erosion of the sweat.

(2). Do not attempt to remove the back cover of the watch, so as not to affect the regular work of the watch because of the dust into the movement.

(3). Do not place the watch in the wardrobe with moth balls, so as not to incur the oil deterioration of watch.

(4). Do not place the watch on amplifier, stereo, or television, in order to avoid magnetization.

(5). The watch which is stored without being worn for a long-term should have a regular monthly winding, and the automatic mechanical movement watch needs gently swinging back and forth for a few minutes, or to be worn on the wrist for some time allowing it to automatically wind up. To make parts not at rest for too long, in order to ensure the operation of performance of the watch.

(6). Getting sweated, the ordinary mechanical watch can be pressed with some dry cotton, then use a 40-watt light bulb to heat for 5 minutes, and thus all the moisture can be evaporated out from the watch. If the quartz electronic watch gets sweated, wrap small pieces  of calcium chloride with gauze, then open the e-watch cover, and place it into a sealed plastic bag or a glass bottle together with the wrapped calcium chloride. Usually about 3 hours can drive away the moisture, enabling the e-watch back to normal. For the seriously damped watch, the time can be extended appropriately.

(7). Receiving a lovely watch, must keep the protective packaging used in watches well when to remove the outside packaging. These packaging boxes can render the best and safest protection of the watch when the watch is not normally worn, avoiding the collision or breakage of the watch. So to keep the boxes is absolutely necessary, and it is recommended that when not to wear watch on weekdays, habituating to place the watch into the box, which can greatly reduces the chance of damage to watches.

(8). It is best not to wear the same watch every day. More watches should be well prepared for alternative use, which can not only enrich the personal style, but also avoid dust, dirt confining to the same watch. The leather strap watch must be taken with more care to avoid regular wear-out and pull breakage because of daily use. Otherwise, even if the surface of the watch is new, the watch itself will look very old.

(9). To sleep with the watch worn on the wrist, if the watch is luminous, it will adversely affect the body. This is because the coating of luminescent material of the luminous watch pointer and dial is mainly a mixture of radium and zinc sulfide. Radium rays emitted will stimulate ZnS crystal to light, so if wearing a watch during sleeping, the body would get radium radiation for  eight to nine hours, which may greatly cause damage to the human body. Therefore, before going to sleep, it is best to take the luminous watch down and put it on the table.

(10). Take renovation of the watch face. After the watch face gets scratches, first drip one to two drops of water on the watch face, then squeeze a little toothpaste and obliterate it on the face. Effectively, it can remove the scratches away and make it look new again.
